October 1! The firs of the month. Dare I attempt to write a new post for every day of the month? Well, how about every weekday? Does this post even count? Let's make it count.
Some updates on life:
Currently in LA. Working at a Post house in Hollywood. The company, Pixwel, works on trailers and TV Spots for feature films. I got hired on as a runner which means I deliver stuff all over between studios and vendors and us. I also answer the phones when I'm not driving around Hollywood, Burbank, and Beyond. Small company, just started independently, surprisingly fun people to work with (although I often hear one or two of them wishing to inflict physical harm on others). It seems like a stressful job and its definitely more technical than creative but I'm learning a lot and looking forward to getting my hands in on some projects (hopefully soon).
So there, more thoughts on life in LA to come. Driving around a good 15-30 hours of the week allows myself to see and reflect on things a bit.
